Our service focuses on CookieYes due to its feature set, including automated cookie scanning, granular consent controls, geo-targeting, consent logging, and support for Google Consent Mode v2.
This guide explains our process, what we deliver technically, what information we need from you, and what to expect at each stage. The specific compliance scope, consent model (opt-in vs. opt-out), regional rules, and which scripts should be blocked or allowed are determined by you in consultation with your legal counsel. We then implement the corresponding technical settings in the CMP.
Process at a Glance
- Pre-Implementation Review — We analyze site traffic and page count, discuss the compliance scope and consent model you have selected with your counsel, gather banner preferences, and prepare a quote.
- Receive & Approve Quote — We issue a quote for the standard 5-hour implementation bucket.

Pre-Implementation Review
Before any billable work, we complete a complimentary pre-review:

- Align the technical scope with the compliance method and consent model you have determined with your legal counsel.

- Prepare a quote for the 5-hour bucket.
Information we request from you:
- The compliance scope and consent model you have selected (we strongly recommend obtaining advice from your qualified privacy attorney before finalizing this).
- Banner design preferences (colors, logo, button text, languages).
- Confirmation of CookieYes (or alternative) and admin access to the account and Google Tag Manager (if used).
We implement whatever technical configuration corresponds to the method and scope you provide. The pre-review must be completed before we can begin implementation work.
Implementation: What We Deliver
Once the quote is approved, we execute the technical implementation according to the scope and consent model you have chosen:
- Connect and configure CookieYes on your site.
- Customize the banner and preferences center to your branding and the regional rules matching your selected scope.
- Configure script and cookie behavior so that non-essential third-party resources respect the consent status (blocking until consent is granted where that matches your chosen model).
- Add or update an automated list of detected cookies/technologies in your Privacy Policy.
- Perform testing across devices and simulated regions; deliver screenshots documenting the configured behavior and test results.
- Provide clear technical documentation and handover.
We manage only the technical configuration and testing. Most sites fit within the standard 5-hour allocation. Additional hours for complex script environments are quoted in advance.

Pricing and the 5-Hour Implementation Bucket
Our service uses a required 5-hour implementation bucket as the standard minimum. Unused time remains available for other work on your site. Additional hours, if needed, are quoted and approved in advance.

We generally recommend the Pro plan or higher when geo-targeting or detailed logging is part of your selected configuration.
Handover & Ongoing Management
Upon completion we deliver:
- A summary report with screenshots documenting the implemented banner behavior, script-blocking configuration, and testing results.
- Direct links to CookieYes documentation for consent logs, banner editing, and re-scans.
- Clear technical instructions for ongoing management.
You fully own and control the CookieYes account, subscription, banner customizations, consent logs, and all future re-scans.
After handover you can independently:
- View and export consent records from the Consent Log.
- Edit banner appearance and text.
- Trigger on-demand re-scans after site changes.
- Allow visitors to update preferences.
We recommend periodic re-scans (e.g., monthly or quarterly) and after any significant site updates. Ongoing maintenance support is available under a separate agreement if desired.
