Important: Tiny Frog provides technical implementation services for consent management platforms only. We do not provide legal advice.
All decisions regarding which laws apply to your site, which consent model to use, which scripts or pixels to block or allow, banner and policy copy, and how to respond to any demand letters or regulatory matters are solely the responsibility of you and your qualified legal counsel. We implement the technical configuration that corresponds to the scope and method you have selected.
This service does not certify legal compliance, create proof of compliance, or guarantee any legal outcome.
Overview
Many website owners choose to implement a Consent Management Platform (CMP) so visitors can make choices about non-essential cookies and tracking scripts, and so those choices can be reflected in how scripts load on the site.
Tiny Frog offers a technical implementation service using a leading third-party CMP. You retain full ownership of the CMP account and data. Our standard service focuses on CookieYes because of its feature set for WordPress sites, including automated cookie scanning, granular consent controls, geo-targeting (plan-dependent), consent logging, and support for Google Consent Mode v2.
This guide explains our process, what we deliver technically, what information we need from you, and what to expect at each stage.
The specific consent model (opt-in style vs. opt-out style), regional rules, banner wording, and which scripts should be blocked or allowed are determined by you in consultation with your legal counsel. We then implement the corresponding technical settings in the CMP.

Process at a Glance
- Pre-implementation review — We review approximate traffic and page count, discuss the technical scope that matches the consent model you have selected with your counsel, gather banner preferences, and prepare a quote.
- Receive & approve quote — We issue a quote for the standard 5-hour technical implementation bucket (see Pricing below). Commercial terms and limitations are provided with the quote.
- Implementation — We perform the technical work: CMP setup, banner customization, configuration of script and cookie behavior according to your chosen model, Privacy Policy cookie-list updates where scoped, and testing.
- Handover & sign-off — We provide documentation of the implemented configuration and testing results. You review categories and settings in your CookieYes account. We request your written approval of the technical setup.
Optional elements (quoted separately when applicable): Advanced geo-targeting, complex multi-region rules matching your selected scope, or complex Google Tag Manager integrations beyond the standard optional path.
Why CookieYes?
CookieYes is a cloud-based CMP that supports automated discovery and granular consent controls. Our team handles the manual setup, configuration, and testing required to make the chosen settings function correctly on your WordPress site.
Key technical capabilities we can configure include:
- Automated cookie and script discovery (assistive; incomplete by nature)
- Region-specific banners and consent models (matching the scope you selected)
- Granular consent categories
- Configuration of non-essential third-party scripts and iframes to respect consent status
- Consent logging with exportable records
- Support for Google Consent Mode v2 (when included in your selected configuration)
- Accessibility-oriented and clean interface options
You sign up directly on cookieyes.com and own the account. We handle the WordPress-side technical configuration and testing only.
Other platforms can be discussed during pre-review if your selected requirements differ.
Pre-Implementation Review
Before billable implementation work, we complete a complimentary pre-review:
- Review approximate page count and monthly pageviews (for CookieYes plan capacity sizing—not a legal determination).
- Align the technical scope with the consent method and model you have determined with your legal counsel.
- Optionally run a cookie and script discovery scan and share findings as a technical aid.
- Prepare a quote for the 5-hour technical bucket.
Information we request from you:
- The consent model and technical scope you have selected (we strongly recommend obtaining advice from your qualified privacy attorney before finalizing this).
- Banner design preferences (colors, logo, button text, languages).
- Banner and preference-center copy, or written confirmation that you elect CookieYes template/default text (you remain responsible for final wording), plus your privacy policy URL.
- Confirmation of CookieYes (or alternative) and admin access to the account and Google Tag Manager (only if you already use GTM and want optional GTM consent setup).
- Name of the person who will review and approve scan results and cookie categories in your CookieYes account.
We implement whatever technical configuration corresponds to the method and scope you provide. We do not invent legal defaults for you.
Implementation: What We Deliver
Once the quote is approved and intake items are received, we execute the technical implementation according to the scope and consent model you have chosen:
- Connect and configure CookieYes on your site.
- Customize the banner and preferences center to your branding and the regional rules matching your selected scope.
- Configure script and cookie behavior so that non-essential third-party resources respect the consent status (blocking until consent is granted where that matches your chosen model).
- Use CookieYes scanning and AI-assisted categorization as technical starting points only; you review and approve categories in your account.
- Add or update an automated list of detected cookies/technologies in your Privacy Policy where scoped (you remain responsible for policy accuracy and legal sufficiency).
- Perform testing across devices and simulated regions as applicable; deliver screenshots documenting the configured behavior and test results.
- Provide clear technical documentation and handover.
We manage only the technical configuration and testing. Most sites fit within the standard 5-hour allocation. Additional hours for complex script environments are quoted in advance.
Optional technical elements
These are included only when they align with the scope you have selected and may require additional scoping or higher-tier CookieYes subscriptions:
- Geo-targeting and region-based rules
- Google Consent Mode v2 configuration
- Optional Google Tag Manager (GTM) consent categorization only if you already use GTM and request it (GTM is not required for CookieYes to control scripts on the site)
- Advanced optimization for sites with many existing tracking scripts
Pricing and the 5-Hour Implementation Bucket
Our service uses a required 5-hour technical implementation bucket as the standard minimum. Typical technical setups take about 3–5 hours, depending on site complexity and your inputs. Unused time remains available for other Tiny Frog technical work on your site for up to one year from the start of the bucket (or as stated in your quote). Additional hours, if needed, are quoted and approved in advance.
CookieYes.com subscription fees are billed by CookieYes (or under a plan you already hold), not by Tiny Frog, unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
Current CookieYes pricing (per domain, monthly, as of July 2026) — confirm current details on cookieyes.com/pricing:
| Plan | Monthly Price | Monthly Pageviews | Pages per Scan | Best Suited For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 5,000 | 100 | Very low traffic or testing only |
| Basic | $10 | 100,000 (+ $0.30 per 1,000 over) | 600 | Smaller sites needing core features |
| Pro | $25 | 300,000 (+ $0.30 per 1,000 over) | 4,000 | Most professional/business sites (geo-targeting, logs, scheduled scans) |
| Ultimate | $55 | Unlimited | 8,000 | High-traffic sites or those needing advanced blocking and branding removal |
Annual billing typically provides savings. Overages are often billed at $0.30 per 1,000 extra pageviews. Always verify current pricing and features on CookieYes.
We may recommend a CookieYes plan based on traffic, page count, and product features you need (for example, geo-targeting or scheduled scans). That recommendation is about product capacity, not legal advice and not a determination of which laws apply to you.
Handover & Ongoing Management
Upon completion we deliver:
- A summary report with screenshots documenting the implemented banner behavior, script-blocking configuration, and testing results.
- Direct links to CookieYes documentation for consent logs, banner editing, and re-scans.
- Clear technical instructions for ongoing management.
You fully own and control the CookieYes account, subscription, banner customizations, consent logs, and all future re-scans.
After handover you can independently:
- View and export consent records from the Consent Log.
- Edit banner appearance and text.
- Trigger on-demand re-scans after site changes.
- Allow visitors to update preferences.
- Review and correct cookie categories and descriptions.
We recommend periodic re-scans (for example, monthly or quarterly) and after any significant site updates. New plugins, tags, and third-party tools can introduce cookies at any time. Configuration is point-in-time. Ongoing maintenance support is available under a separate agreement if desired.
Important Limitations (Please Read)
Our service consists of technical implementation of a consent management platform according to the consent model, scope, and configuration choices you have made with the advice of your legal counsel.
- No technical implementation can guarantee legal compliance or provide immunity from claims, investigations, or demand letters.
- Privacy laws, regulatory interpretations, and enforcement priorities (including those related to CIPA and other regimes) continue to evolve.
- Scanner and AI categorization results can be incomplete or incorrect; you must review and approve them in your CookieYes account.
- Full legal sufficiency depends on your overall data processing activities, all third-party integrations, accurate ongoing categorization, future site changes, and the legal strategy you adopt—not solely on a banner installation.
- This service is not legal advice, a compliance certification, an audit, or a legal opinion.
We strongly recommend that you consult a qualified privacy attorney for a comprehensive review of your specific business, jurisdictions, data flows, chosen consent model, and any demand letters or other legal matters you may receive.
Ultimate legal responsibility rests entirely with the website owner.
For questions about the technical implementation process or to begin a pre-review, please reach out to Tiny Frog.
Footnotes
- The decision on consent model and technical scope is yours (made with your legal counsel). We implement the technical settings that correspond to the method you have selected.
- Always verify current CookieYes pricing and features directly on their site.
- Package and line-item names describe technical work (for example, “CookieYes technical setup”). They do not promise a compliance outcome.
