Requirements
1) Client will need to purchase the license for the plugin and provide the license key and files from the vendor– https://wpmailsmtp.com/
2) SMTP plugin setup requires a dedicated email account to be setup for sending email from your website.
- Example account: noreply@domain.com or your own email address if desired.
- This account will be used for the From Email field.
- This email address should be the same Microsoft 365 account you log in with to authenticate in the plugin settings.
- This may incur additional costs from Microsoft.
SMTP Plugin Installation and Configuration
Installation involves uploading and installing the plugin on the site, then configuring it for One Click setup with Microsoft 365 / Outlook.

We can assist fully with the setup of the SMTP plugin, however as mentioned above it requires being able to log into your chosen Microsoft email account, so we would require that account being shared with us and may require any 2FA codes to be shared with us during that process.
- Full setup generally takes about 1-2 hours and depends on coordinating the setup with you so we can receive any 2FA codes so we can connect the account to the website.
- If you perform the one click setup portion the plugin setup and activation/connection to your Microsoft 365 account it will only take our team 30 minutes to perform our action prior to having you connect the account.
